Meet Patricia
and Davy.

We’re Davy and Patricia, the husband-and-wife duo behind Itaa’s Street Kitchen.

Patricia earned her master’s degree in education and spent years working as a schoolteacher in Mexico. After moving to the United States in 2018, she quickly began missing the food from home. She started making and selling menudo from her apartment, sharing the flavors she grew up with long before Itaa’s Street Kitchen became a food truck.

Davy brings more than a decade of experience in restaurants and hospitality, from bartending and training staff to leading teams as a head bartender and front-of-house manager. His career has taken him from neighborhood restaurants to hotel bars, building a hands-on understanding of service, daily operations, and what makes guests want to come back.

Together, we decided to bring the bold flavors of Northern Mexico to our home in Central Texas. Patricia brings the recipes, traditions, and creativity. Davy brings his restaurant experience to the service and day-to-day operations, helping make every visit welcoming from the first order to the last bite.

Our montados, burritos, and street bites carry the love that once filled Itaa’s kitchen. When you stop by, we want you to feel like part of our story.
